ABOUT

Hello! My name is Amy Banić, (the ć sounds like a ch, pronounced “Ban-ich”). Currently, I am a an Associate Professor at the University of Wyoming in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I am the Director of the Interactive Realities Research and Teaching Lab.
 
I conduct exciting research in understanding how we interact with and inventing new ways to explore Virtual and Augmented Reality Systems. I am professionally trained in computer science as well as digital and studio arts. Creativity is a foundation for innovation and innovation fosters creativity!
